Getting Started
Orient evaluators and administrators to the TradePacer CRM commercial lifecycle, core terminology, and how modules connect from Lead through Subscription.
Last updated: August 2026
TradePacer CRM is a commercial operations platform for companies selling advisory, research, or subscription services. This guide orients evaluators and administrators to the core lifecycle from first contact through ongoing delivery.
The client lifecycle
- Lead: A prospect enters through manual creation, import, or intake.
- Opportunity: Sales activities and follow-ups move qualified Leads toward a specific Plan in the Catalog.
- Customer: A won Opportunity creates a stable account; Customer 360 consolidates everything after conversion.
- Onboarding case: KYC, Risk assessment, and agreements clear compliance before activation when the Plan requires it.
- Subscription: The booked service instance with frozen commercial terms; entitlements unlock research and portal access.
Each installation is dedicated to one company, one application and one database. Record scopes (OWN, TEAM, DEPARTMENT, ALL) and RBAC enforce access on every action.
Key terminology
- Product: The kind of thing you sell (no price).
- Plan: A priced package within a Product in the Catalog.
- Disposition: A structured outcome applied to Leads during qualification.
- Customer Portal: Optional module for customer self-service when enabled.
