Payments

Issue invoices, record payments, verify receipts, and allocate funds to Subscriptions, with immutable payment rows and refund records for corrections.

Last updated: August 2026

Payments are recorded, verified, and allocated. Original payment rows are immutable; corrections use refund records so the financial audit trail stays intact.

Payment lifecycle

  1. Issue invoices with PDF documents linked to the Customer or Subscription.
  2. Record payments, entries start in pending verification status.
  3. Finance verifies receipt against bank or gateway confirmation.
  4. Allocations apply verified amounts to invoices and Subscriptions.
  5. Revenue reporting aggregates verified amounts; refunds adjust balances without deleting rows.
Immutable payment rows protect audit integrity. Use refund records for reversals or partial corrections rather than editing historical entries.
